Instantly recognisable by its topping of concentric circles of whole almonds, the Dundee cake was created by the renowned Keiller company who also popularised Seville orange marmalade. By the mid-19th century, it had already become a firm favourite in many English-speaking countries, including what was then British India. We don´t claim that our recipe exactly follows the original Keiller recipe which included Scotch whisky, orange peel and no cherries. We only claim that it´s a delicious, moist light/medium density fruit cake which even non-fruit cake lovers can enjoy.

Wheat flour, butter, Demerara sugar, free-range eggs, whole almonds, ground almonds, natural almond extract, whole milk, orange juice, lemon zest, salt, raisins, sultanas, crystalised fruit peel, glacê cherries, mixed ground spices (cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger, cloves, cardomom).
Baked on the day of the order, sealed in an airtight bag and chilled until delivery.
