Apple crumble


This classic British dessert which combines  baked apples with a sweet Streusel crumb topping has conquered the world. Even the French, who are usually sniffy about British food, have adopted le crumble. Our crumble filling is made with tart Granny Smith apples, cinnamon and nutmeg. The crumb topping is made with wheat flour, demerara sugar and butter. Best served warm accompanied by cream, ice cream or custard.


Serves: 4-6 portions. Baked on the day of the order, sealed in an airtight bag and frozen until delivery the following morning.
